We went right through the Mexican Customs, without knowing what to do. So guy start running after us, asking us to turn around to clear Customs.
We then arrived at the Belizian borders, where it looked exactly like Tortola, 2 years ago.
We had to buy Belize car insurance, 15$, then pay 5$ for a spray .... while every other cars where driving by. The tourist feeling started.... are we getting screwed again?
Well we had to pay it... The girl at the custom was really nice, and gave us a month visa.
We started driving towards Orange Walk, a 30 minutes drive. Finally end up in a 1h30 drive. We took the wrong road and end up in a small village. People were all telling us to turn around, I guess they never saw many tourists there...
There is absolutely no signs on the roads... so hard to find your way around.
We arrived in Orange Walk, a small dirty village... start driving around, people were nice. Smells like Marijuana everywhere. Not that I would know how it smells like Mom, but somebody told me.
We took the Lamanai tour, the boat ride was fun. We saw Spider monkey, birds, crocodiles, then we arrived in Lamanai, a Maya site.
The site is absolutely amazing... we climbed up the highest pyramid, to see an amazing 360 view of the jungle around. L. from Gib, you were absolutely right, awesome!!
We spent the day there, then just arrived back to the hostel.
Going tomorrow to the second biggest reef in the world, for some diving hopefully.

Alors, un petit break de la pluie montréalaise? Combien de temps est-ce que tu es parti cette fois? Il faudra bien se voir pour que tu me contes tes nouvelles aventures a faire rougir d'envie Tintin!
