St. Pats Day: The mother of all piss-ups. During the day I explored Adelaide while Greg stayed at the hostel doing laundry and trying to get over a cold. Apparently no one else works either, as the town was bustling with consumers. Rundle Mall was actually quite good and entertaining, there were tons of performers - musicians, magicians, and a lame attempt at a fire show. Basically the rest of the day was your typical St Pattys Day Drinkfest, I bought some beer - btw, they dont have 12 packs here only 6 and the cheapest is $14 and its around $40 for a case - insanity, how do aussies afford to get drunk?? So we will be drinking more goon - 4 litre box of wine for $11. Anyway, I get back to our hostel and a mad irishman with a bottle of Jamesons careens us into his room, pours us some shots and then immediatly passes out...classic. We then met up with the rest of the backpackers from the bus played drinking games, went to a street festival and a pub. Good spirited fun.
