TB:  The first resort we stayed at was Oarsman's Bay Lodge on the Yasawa Islands.  Oarsman's had a nice swimming spot with alright snorkel, nice bures and hammocks on the beach.  Guests ate all meals together and Greg ate every bit of the mystery meat, we were told it was lamb, it was gray and rubbery.   GD: "I thought the food was awesome!"  We spent most of our time in Fiji either swimming, snorkeling, lounging in a hammock, or filling our bellies.

While in Nacula Island we went with some other guests to the nearby village - the only village on the island.  It was a little weird strutting through someone elses home as they go about their daily chores.  But as usual we were greeted with the boisterous Bula!  Our guide, newphew of the chief, also the name of our favorite New Zealand beer, Tui, showed us the meeting house and the churches (catholic and methodist)  Then it was on to the village market, where the woman of the village displayed their goods of handmade jewelry, masks, and woven items.  We were a little skeptical that some goods were not handmade by the locals, nevertheless this is their income for the week.  I bought a coconut and seed bracelet.  Frome there, we meanered to the village school where kids from neighboring islands also attend and stay in dorms.  The 5th and 7th graders presented us with song and dance - I was impressed with their awesome voices.  They sang hymns, childrens songs, and even 'Country Road'.  Their school and dorms were surrounded by mountains and a rugby field.  We were then on our way back to our resort via boat and had lunch on the beach.

Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl? - Milhouse Van Houten

aloha!
I'm glad you've started updating. You'd been gone over a week and haden't left a message! Your mothers and I were worried sick! Speaking of being sick- I got strep throat this week and have been laying around on the couch in total pain. Even in sleep I couldn't find relief due to waking up three times a night sweating thru my sheets, then waking up later shivering. And the constant horrible throat pain that kept me from swallowing water, food, and even my own saliva. And you know what that means... yes, I took to drooling to avoid the pain of swallowing. Dont worry though, this morning while brushing my teeth, my ear canal unclogged itself, and all sorts of clotted blood and pus came rushing into my mouth over a 15 minute period just as I was to go meet my girlfriend.

So while you two have been having the time of your lives, I've been miserable. And you're probably enjoying that notion too, you assholes!

Anyway, enough about me, the pictures look great. Though I'm kind of curious what the 'bad' part of Fiji looks like. Have you been getting drunk every night, or just the vast majority. How have you been spending the days? Ok, catch you later
