Well after Italy, I went back to Istanbul for one more week. I still had lots to see and do. We went to the Grand Bazaar to finish my shopping. We also went to the Egyptian Spice Bazaar. There are lots of stores all around the bazaars too. There is no shortage of places to shop here. They are so large, and once you get inside the bazaar, there are so many lanes to go down, it really is like a maze. It so large and beautiful inside them. Lots of tile work on the inside.

We also went to the Chora Museum which is an old church that is covered in beautful mosaics that you can't see anywhere else. It's small and a bit tricky to get to, but well worth it.

We also went to Galata Tower which overlooks the three bodies of water and where they join (Sea of Maramara, Bosphorus, and the Golden Horn). From here, we went to French Street where we had wine and cheese. It was a beautifully decorated ally with all these restaurants poking out with beautiful decor. Not many tourists know about it so it wasn't that crowded.

Well that's the end of my trip and it's back to reality in Canada. I want to thank Sait and his family for taking me in and showing me a great time. I wouldn't have been able to see or do as much as I did without them. I had a wonderful time and I can't wait till I can go back and see the rest of the things I didn't get to see.
