Well, after a very long wait, the furniture finally arrived after a 5 week wait for it. and yep, it arrives at 4.45 on Thursday arvo when we have to leave on Friday morning, as we had the great pleasure
of Jacob for the week. After going through a few box's to see what I had to pack in the winnebago for the melbourne trip, we decided to throw the rest of the box's in the back of the winnebago and set up "home" at Chantelle's, and besides all of that it was too bloody hot to be outside in Emerald. Come Friday morning, tried to find as many warm clothes as we could, we set off for our first leg, it was very un eventfull and all went well. At Gladstone, the weather was still hot, so we did the bus in short bursts, but we managed to get it all done, plus some meals cooked for our trip down. We had a great day travelling down to Coominya at Ray and Mary's house as we all were excited for the big trip. Our first night was down to about 1 degree at night, as warm as we were inside it was a sign of things to come, to top it off, we had a fuel blockage and the poor bus struggled to go up the hills, and Terry was ready to burn the bus.ha ha anyway as we put fuel in at Goulburn, the bus decided to go full steam ahead, go figure huh.
Anyway all is good, we arrived at Johns and it has been as cold as anything and rained rained and rained some more. So at this stage we are hoping the rain will stop for our reunion on Saturday.
