After saying bye to my parents at the airport, I was a little teary.  They had come over for 3 weeks and it had gone so fast, and now I won't see them again until next year :(  My flight wasn't for another 4 hours so I just read a book, and wrote in my journal for a few hours.  My flight was of course late, and changed gates without making an announcement.  Finally arrived into Gatwick, albeit really late, and in my tired state bought the wrong ticket to get to my Aunty's, so the ticket inspector made me pay for another one, so all up cost me £23...my money is running out very rapidly :(  Arrived at my Aunty's and fell into a deep sleep..

The next day we all headed out to Marlow-upon-Thames, a pretty village where my uncle grew up.  We wandered along the main shopping road and down the alley ways towards the river.  We took a picnic and sat by the locks and watched all the river barges go by.  It was such a relaxing day and much needed after racing around Europe!!
