Ivan and Lou drove us to John Lennon Liverpool airport, what a lovely airport it is! Didn't have to wait long to check in, walked around in the duty free area and bought some food from Boots (love that Sandwich, chips and drink deal they have - our lunch staple in the UK!!).
On our flight we unfortunately had a bunch of rowdy Welsh boys, who were laughing and screeching the whole flight. It was made up by our Easy Jet Air Hostesses, who were singing and dancing jokingly in the aisles, someone told one of the hostesses a joke and she collapsed onto the floor in laughter, this actually made my day!
Arrived in Amsterdam at lunchtime and couldn't find our hostel for several hours! Checked in and then wandered about to get a feel for the city. Everyone rides their bikes here, you have to stick to the footpaths (and not walk on the red bike paths like we initially did!) or you will get run over!
