Well, we had planned to go to Pompeii and Herculaneum today, but it’s raining cats and dogs, so we’ve had to go to Plan B! Not sure at this stage what that’ll be – but we did joke about going to the local cinema! It’s been nice to catch up on some emails and this blog though, while Rex does the laundry. I’m sitting here in our room on the 5th floor with the veranda door open as it’s quite warm despite the rain, looking out on the street and traffic below. Sorrento is quite a big town, and always seems to be pretty busy especially considering we are now getting past the shoulder season for tourism. I’m glad we postponed Pompeii today though, as it would have been miserable on a day like this. Plus Anna has come down with a nasty cold, and that wouldn’t have helped her at all. So hopefully it’ll be better tomorrow. Actually it would be nice if it cleared this afternoon, as I’d like to do some more exploring.
