The first thing I thought when I woke up this morning was, "Sweet balls I have to leave tonight!" I really, really, really DO NOT want to go home. I hate my job, my apartment, pretty much everything about where I'm at in life right now, so why the heck would I want to go back when I'm living the good life here. Sure, Colorado is super laid-back too, but there is just something about this place that's different. I have no worries. I smile...and people notice. When I get back home I need to make a new plan, create a new direction for my life. Alright enough of that...today Meghan and I drove up to the North Shore and each took an aerobatic glider flight! Wow! That was totally freaking awesome! I can't even begin to tell you...next thing is an F-15!! My all-time weapon of choice. :o) Haha, maybe someday. We ate lunch at Halewai Jo's and then went back to Waikiki for a couple's massage at the Marriott spa...don't ask about the couple's massage, it's a long story...a funny one, so be sure to ask. :o)
After our very exhilerating experience at the spa we raced to the airport and headed home. Well, Meghan did anyway. I boarded my flight home (and you will never freaking believe who was in front of me in line!), we got about 45 miutes out and our pilot told us we were going back to Honolulu. Shit! Well, they made us sit on the plane for like two hours before they let us off and sent us to a hotel for the evening. Evidently the fuel pump went out. These experiences make me question the state of all of Northwest Airline's planes. Hmmmm....
The airline put us up at the Ala Moana hotel, a real shit-hole compared to the Marriott in Waikiki. Boy do I sound like a snob now or what? I changed my flight so that I left late Saturday night- that means I have a whole extra day in Hawai'i!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good night!
