Not much to say here. I had to be in San Antone Saturday morning to take a test, so I stayed at Sander and Marvia's place on the Medina River and took along my bike to ride in the woods. The weather was great and I was able to ride Friday afternoon and again on Saturday after taking the test.
Friday night we watched Dana Brown's great documentary, "Dust To Glory". The next night we had some killer steaks while viewing "I Walk The Line".
We made two new trails that were pretty challenging at first, but after a few attempts, I was able to ride them fairly consistently. Then it was time to try riding in the reverse direction. That turned out to be pretty tough the first time. Then I figured out where the front wheel needed to be.
Right before the photos were taken Saturday afternoon, I got too close to a tree that had some old barbed wire wrapped around it and tore the right sleeve on my shirt. It's visible in the photographs. I somehow avoided getting even the smallest scratch on my arm. I bet I couldn't do that again! So I removed the offending wire to make sure.
