Hey There Everyone,
Well, it seems like I say this a lot, but life is still absolutely crazy around here. We are getting excited though because we have made it through September pretty much, and there is more practice time and less assignments in October. I am actually quite relieved as I sit here writing this entry, as many of the difficult assignments are complete, although there will still be some challenges to come. Last week, we were really busy practicing and preparing for our 1 Hour Children's Program that we had to do for Sunday School on Sunday. On Saturday morning we did our first run through of that program which turned out to be an absolute disaster and we are all pretty discouraged about it. When it came to Sunday though, the program went really well, and one boy raised his hand to accept Jesus into his life.
I was really dreading last nite out of any night in all of training camp because we had Puppet Dinner Theatre where us puppeteers come up with a solo script that is 5 minutes long, and then perform it @ supper time. It went really well though, and I actually enjoyed it. The other thing I was dreading was a sermon that I had to preach (5 minutes long) and get evaluated. That also went really well, and my assignment for next week is to turn it into a 10 minute sermon for next week.
We are now busy preparing for our worship time on Sunday here, as our team will be leading it @ Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church. Also, we will be billeted out this weekend for the first time, which I am really excited about. Today, we have spiritual emphasis week and this afternoon we have siesta and freetime until supper, which I am really looking forward to, as it should be very refreshing a relaxing.
The other night we had the most amazing pair of rainbows outside that were absolutely beautiful and appeared to end in front of the trees here @ VTI. We didn't find a pot of gold, but we did get pictures with it.
Well thats it for now. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Travelpod and God Bless!!!
