Probably like you, I had no idea there was a country located between France and Spain.  Well, turns out there is - a beautiful little country located in the middle of the Pyrenees mountains called Andorra.  Though the smallest European country, it has the second longest life expectancy of any country in the world and is renowned for it's ski resorts and as a summer mountain getaway for Europeans.

Taking a minibus from Toulouse to Andorra, I literally had to go through rain, hail, and a snowstorm to get there!  Arriving at Pas de la Casa, it was 0 degrees and snowing hard.  Thirty minutes later we made it to Andorra la Vella, the capital city, where I would stay at the Festa Brava hotel.  I seriously considered going snowboarding, but it was just too late in the season and the snow, though plentiful, was just too wet for my tastes.  So I wandered about town, dodging the hourly rainfall and taking in the sights.  Not too much to be seen here, but nice to look around a place I had no idea even existed!
