Perhaps you heard about this, but Korea has been suffering through torrential rains for the past week. Around 80 people have died and thousands of homes have been washed away. As you'll se in the pictures, it's a pretty serious situation. This past weekend it rained 20 inches in three days in my town and it was only lightly hit by the rains. Pyeongchang, where Chris Williams is living (thankfully he was up visiting me at the time), has been declared a disaster area and the province we live in, Gangwon, was hit the hardest. Both of us are fine, but the rain hasn't stopped, though it has slowed down. I'll let the pictures do most of the explaining.
