I dont know what it is, but it just sounds cool to say that we're in Transylvania! This city, Cluj-Napoca, used to be the capital when Transylvania was its own country. It's a cool little place which has a large universtiy student population, giving the place a lot of electricity and a fun feel. We spent a few days here and looked around and saw a few interesting sights (see photos), but the highlight of this place is definitely the nightlife. Our first night here, a Wednesday, was the most pumping night scene we've come across in all of Europe! We went to two different clubs, the first was called Texas and had a western theme, but it was packed with mostly students and then we went to Euphoria and it was off the hook! So many damn people and the girls were amazing looking and certainly didn't dress at all like countryside Romanians as they would've pulled looks in even the hippest London night club!

I started getting sick here and it got worse over the next few days...nothing big, just kind of a cold with a constant cough. So I took it easy and just chilled and will hope to be better by the next stop, Brasov which is near Dracula's Castle!
