The next day started slowly and as night approached we walked through Rizal Park again, caught another great sunset, and had one last fresh seafood dinner. Later we went to a live band restaurant and walked around and ended up town and came across a dive bar with another live band and some dancing and then I accidentally got a Tanduay Rum and coke, Tanduay being this Filipino rum that produces the worst hangover in the world, and then we did a lot of dancing and drinking until the wee hours of the morning, arriving back at our place about 8am and I had time to try to sleep until my taxi for the airport at 9:30! I know the details aren't so great, but it really was just lots of drinking and dancing and nothing particularly funny happened though we had a great time.
Slept in late, well not really slept because our room was a freakin oven. Then I met Stefen at Wendy's for lunch, first Wendy's in 3 years and still dig that spicy chicken sandwich, and then went to see Constantine with Keanu Reeves, first movie theater in 8 months, which cost me a 1970ish $1.75 and mostly relaxed from our big night out because I have no idea what we might end up doing tonight! Turns out, not too much for a few reasons. One was that we were tired and two was that I wasn't dressed appropriately. We went to this other area in Manila named Makati and it's the rich area and there are many foreigners and fancy department stores and such. Its not really my kind of area as everything's overpriced and its much more materialistic than the rest of Manila, but we tried a few places and basically I couldn't get in because I was wearing shorts, it WAS 33 degrees that day! Even though I looked way better than a lot of the people they let in, there were no shorts allowed rules, but I didn't really care and we just hung out a bit and then went home for some sleep
