We boarded the train from Bangkok and arrived in Chang Mai 13 hours later and the Thai trains are far better than the ones on Vietnam.

We were picked up by thongsaw trucks and transferred to our hotel which was nice with a pool. We freshened up and then headed out to another temple and wandered around inside. The temple was pretty high up and I walked up all the steps and felt pretty knackered afterwards, then I learnt there was actually a lift that took you to the top. I guess I needed the exercise anyway it was good for me.
