First real destination India is Jaipur, a 2.7 million people city and the capital of the Rajasthan province. Also called the Pink City because of its pink inner walls. A big busy and noisy city and since Delhi I did not get a lot of rest here.

On my second day I met some nice Indian guys who invited me for tea and showed me to a typical clothes and bed sheets factory where the people convinced me to buy something nice as a Christmas present! I believed the price was fair and the people were nice and patient with what I wanted to see. In the morning before I visited the impressive Nahargarh or Tiger Fort which was built in 1734. It is a big place and I walked around for more than 2 hours in the building and along the walls. When walking in the building I entered a room full of...BATS!!! Wow...I went outside immediately and luckily I did not wake them up. I told the guy from the organisation that they should put a warning sign or something..If a child walks in they will be frightened for life like the Batman himself :)

Then my Indian friends told me something about a Guru who was in town and is a good man to visit. I was very interested and half an hour later I was sitting opposite of him in a jewelry store listening to what he had to say. Im very down to earth and normally I do not believe in this spiritual stuff but he told me a few things which were really true and I was impressed. He gave me some good advice and that's always a good thing to take with you.

Practical stuff

-          Evergreen guesthouse is good and ranges from 300 Rp to 1000 Rs.
