The transport to Marsabit was the best I had since I left Zambia. It was a new pick up car which was used for educational purposes but I could get in front and in the back sat a German couple, Chris and Inga. This was a positive surprise and to have a nice car and some fellow travelers after a lack of white people for the last week! On the way to Marsabit talked a bit and enjoyed the landscape when suddenly a cheetah crossed the road a few meters in front of us…wow that's cool. elephants and zebra’s are nice to see but a cheetah in the wild outside a National Park that’s really special.

For the rest Marsabit was just a stopover on the way back to Nairobi and nothing special happened here except that I got a good shaving and face wash after a 2 week long beard!

Practical stuff

-          Jey Jey guesthouse is a clean and affordable place and has a good restaurant and internet possibilities.
