Got a lift from the campsite to the junction where I could hitch to Francistown but after waiting for more than an hour (without success) a bus passed and I got on it. On the way to Francistown saw some of the vast landscape of Botswana and talked a bit with the people next
to me. I also contacted Werner who I know via Couchsurfing and lives in Gaborone. He told me I was also welcome today so in Francistown I hopped on the next bus to Gaborone (aka Gab City or Gabs). On the way to Francistown and to Gaborone we had to stop at a checkpoint which checked for 'Mouth and foot' disease. You are not allowed to bring any meat or fruits beyond this point so I gave away my banana's I bought in Zambia.
After 12 hours in 2 buses I arrived at 20.30 in Gab City and met with Werner and his friend Paul. Werner is a 21 year old (white) guy who was born in Namibia, lived in South-Africa and now lives in Gabs. They were heading for something to eat and a few drinks at a place called 'Boulevard' so straight from the bus I joined them until 11 pm.

Next day met with a Motswana girl, Tlotlo, who I also know from couchsurfing and we spend a day in the city together. A little bit talking, walking and checking out the city. In the evening went to Boulevard and after that finished the Saturday night in the Lizard Lounge.

Next day chilling and browsing the internet (since it is free at Werner's) place. In the afternoon the plan was to do some sightseeing at the Gaborone Dam but because it was a Sunday we couldn't get in. I promised Tlotlo that I would have a look at her company. She and her business partner started a company and created a website with all kinds of information about Botswana. The only thing is that there is no money flowing in yet so I offered my Business Consultant services to have a look at the website www.botswanaawaits.com and think along in solutions. We decided to create a business plan to attract sponsors so that's what I did the next day.

Practical Stuff
  •  When starting early you could go to Gaborone in 1 day. Get to the Kazangula junction and wait for a ride or a bus. I arrived at 14.30 in Francistown and at 20.30 in Gaborone (Gab City).
