A long day of traveling ahead. At 8 am got the bus from Tofo to Inhambane. Then took the ferry from Inhambane to Maxixe where I had to wait for the bus to Chimoio for 2,5 hours. When the bus came (from Maputo) I got on together with Melo, a Mozambican guy I met there, but we had to pay the full amount to Chimoio, 900 mtc! It was a long trip starting at 13 hrs and arriving at 22.30 hrs. But what was this, we weren't in Chimoio but in Inchope at the junction between Beira and Chimoio. Apparently the driver was tired and need to sleep a couple of hours before we can continue. So I had 2 choices: sleep in the bus or pitch up my tent along the road somewhere. The last option sounded as the best so I found a deserted house, put up my tent in there and together with Melo went sleeping from 23 to 3 am. That was a new experience!

Evaluation of Mozambique
During my trip and travel through Malawi I decided to go to Mozambique and I don't regret it! It's Africa but with a mediterranean vibe. The people don't speak an African language but they speak Portuguese. Since I traveled through the north, center and south I can say that I've seen different parts of the country and the differences between the touristic south and the poor north are very clear. More tourists than in other parts of Africa but very cool beaches and diving opportunities. For a backpacker it's difficult to travel cheap but to pay a little bit more is definitely worth it!
