Where I stayed
Tofo is a real paradise with a great beach and one of the best diving spots in the world where you can see Whale Sharks, Dolphins, Turtles and many other things. Apart from that it is known for a (almost) guaranteed Manta's diving spot which is quite amazing. Ofcourse I
couldn't resist and did 3 dives and an ocean safari which I booked at Peri-Peri 'the hottest diving in Mozambique'. Apparently the best diving sites are very deep (28 m or deeper) so I had to do a bit of study before doing a deep dive. It was however GREAT and I had 3 good dives although the visibility wasn't really good. But the things you see make up for that completely. On the way to the dive we saw 2 big turtles in the water, a couple of dolphins and a humpback whale who
was blowing some water in the sky. After the first dive we did the ocean safari looking for wale sharks and I snorkeled with 2 whale sharks and snorkeled with about 6 manta's who are also like 3 to 4 m wide, AMAZING!!
For the rest Tofo is really a relaxed place so hung out with the people I also met in Maputo: Sami (Finnish guy), Anna (Brazilian/German girl) and Linda (Dutch). The last night was Linda's birthday so we went for a party in Ino's which was not really cool due to the bad music
but still a decent night out.

Practical stuff
- For diving you can go to Diversity, Tofo, Liquid and Peri-Peri which all offer comparable diving prices. For me the choice fell on Peri-Peri since they included my stay at Fatima's and breakfast and dinner in the price.
- If you want to go from Tofo to the north and like to come as far as possible take an early bus to Inhambane, get the ferry to Maxixe and from there get a bus further up north. I had to wait quite a long time for the bus in Maxixe since it was coming from Maputo and I had to pay the same price, 900 mtc which is quite a lot.

Comments
Ola! Hier hebben Niels en ik ook gedoken! Is zo gaaf!!
Liefs,
Mandy
