Before we left Waterford, of course we had to see the Waterford Crystal showroom. We thought maybe we could pick up a Waterford Crystal shotglass for Maggie's collection but they only sold them in sets of four at a cost of over $110 so we just admired them instead. All of the crystal was beautiful, but very expensive.
Next stop was the Irish National Heritage Park in Wexford where we learned a lot about the early history of this island, starting 9000 years ago through the end of the middle ages. As you can see by our photos, we had a good time. We enjoyed some more seafood chowder and Irish stew in the park's restaurant, then headed to our next stop: Glendalough.
