We drove back up towards Limerick after Blarney to stop in Adare, which we'd heard was one of the prettiest Irish towns. The manor and its grounds were very nice, but the town lacked much charm, overrun as it was by cars and tourists and not much to see other than colorful buildings. We did pick up some tasty fudge though.
