Uncle Jimmy knocked on the door of our RV early Monday morning and we all piled into his pick-up and headed out to where the praire meets the Rockies and where Mike's great great grandparents homesteaded.
We were able to see the old ranch house which is now used as a poker house by the current owner's ranch hands. We also saw the old barn and bunk house. The horses followed us everywhere!
Then Uncle Jimmy drove us closer to the Rockies where we he showed us another of Mike's great great grandparent's old homesteads.
We also saw antelope, several seagull-like birds called coulees and a couple of Minuteman missile sites.
Then he took us back through town for some shopping and then to the RV where Shelby gave him one of her homemade rhubarb pies, and we said our goodbyes and hit the road for our long journey home.
