We drove for more than 10 hours through eastern Montana, northeastern Wyoming and finally into the Black Hills of South Dakota.
The scenery was beautiful and very desolate...
The windmills in Eastern Montana were more plentiful and spinning faster than any we have seen before.
At Crow Agency, Montana, we stopped at the Crow Indian reservation to see
the Little Bighorn National Monument, the site of Custer's Last Stand.
This is where General Custer, also known as "The Bloodthirsty Idiot",
lead his drastically outnumbered troops to be massacred by the
Cheyenne, Lakota and Sioux tribes.
The last picture shows where Custer's last group of men fell. The stone with black writing and the flag marks where Custer fell.
By the time we reached Spearfish, South Dakota, it was very dark...
