Our drive from Duluth through northern Minnesota was highlighted by the many lakes (common of course in the state known as the "Land of 10,000 Lakes"), and also seeing the headwaters of the mighty Mississippi River.  Especially with all the flood news we've been seeing that is occurring in the midwest, to see the tiny creek that was labeled the Mississippi River, was very strange...

Going through Canadian customs at the border was very easy, just showing them our drivers' licenses and answering a few questions and we were waved through.

We arrived in Winnipeg late afternoon, parked the RV downtown (somehow we always find a place to park it), walked around exploring, visited a coffee shop (of course), and a nice shopping area down by the river where we found a few souvenirs, another coffee shop, some international food items (which we called dinner) and some fresh fruit (lychees).

By the time we made it back to the RV and drove to our campgound, which was about 20 miles west of Winnipeg, it was early evening.  We set up camp, road our bicycles around the campground, watched a movie and went to bed.
