We started the morning with a trip to Hopewell Rocks (it was only open to walk on the ocean floor from 9 to 11).  The flowerpot formations were stunning.  And we did not get our feet nearly as dirty as at St Andrews at their low tide.  We then drove on up the Fundy coast to Moncton, a large town slightly inland from the bay.  We stopped st Shediac on the northern coast and bought two cooked 1 1/2 pound lobsters for $20.  Then we had a time finding crackers and pickers to eat them with since it was Victoria Day in Canada and most stores were closed.  We went by the beach at Parlee (said to be the warmest salt water north of Virginia) but it was too crowded so we opted for the pier near Parlee.  The lobster was delicious.   We then went by the herring factories at Cap Pele and saw lots and lots of wood stacked for their smoking operations.  Finally we crossed the 13 K Confederation Bridge onto Prince Edward Island.  There was a visitor center right at the Gateway Village at the end of the bridge so we were able to get addl information for our severl days on PEI.
