* 'Passenger X traveling to Y, you are delaying the flight. Immediate boarding please at gate or we will proceed to offload your baggage.' - harsh!
* A father/daughter had jars of strange substances confiscated at the gate. The airline refused to check them. Honestly they looked like jars of formaldehyde body parts.
* The idiots who were complaining at Kilimanjaro airport about getting an upgrade on KLM for getting married in the Serengeti were whining at the gate in Amsterdam.
* To board the flight to NY, the airport setup a makeshift passport control center. The guy in front of me (American?) seemed confused by this. He was unable to explain where he came from after he said he wasn't coming from Amsterdam. He had a one way ticket only on his phone. hmmmmmm. He made the flight.
* Note to self ... even though you have a green card NEVER EVER go into the US Citizens line. It is FAR slower than the foreigner line.
* I landed at 1pm and it took almost 4 hours to get home using CT Limo. Anyone want to pick me up next trip??
Oliver was happy to see me but sad that his three visits a day were about to end!
