After consuming a massive breakfast at our little San Jose Hotel's buffet we set off on another adventure, this time inland. A couple of ex-pats from Germany and the U.S. bought this plot of land 3 years ago that was covered with naturally occurring hot springs and they opened a little day tripper resort for locals.  There were 5 sets of hot springs with 2-3 pools each of varying temperatures.  The way the place was built out was amazing. Families hung out and BBQ'ed and soaked and splashed about during the day and at night we and the 2 other guests staying there had full run of the place.  Unbelievably relaxing and healthful, which was good because we were both exhausted after our Osa adventures.  The construction of this place is indescribable.  The cabinas were beautiful and the pools were almost surreal.  Each was it's own little sculpted piece of art. There was even one up in the middle of the woods that was perfect during the day when the temperature was high but the shade kept you cool.  More pictures I didn't take: http://www.airbnb.com/rooms/30358

Then back to San Jose to have some really freaky bug bites checked out.  4 big spots on my right forearm just kind of opened up over night.  The verdict is that they are most likely an allergic reaction and not a flesh eating virus but that I should really keep an eye on them.  It shouldn't be hard because they are kind of huge and fleshy red. These things are going to definitely leave massive scars.
