John is due to graduate on 17th July – we are pretty sure that he has passed his degree, but we won't find out until 9th July what his grades are and therefore what level degree he has achieved.

I wanted to do something for John for all the hard work he has put in over the last five years, so I decided to organise a trip – without telling him – all I told him was that I was taking him out for a meal – I just forgot to mention that the meal was actually going to be in Morocco!!

When I arranged it I wasn’t sure exactly when John would graduate, so as it turns out the trip is around a week and a half beforehand, but that’s fine, it’ll take his mind off getting his results a bit.

So, we have a friend who lives in Milan – Alex, and she is coming too – if all goes to plan, her flight from Milan lands in Marrakech half an hour before we arrive in from Gatwick, so she should be in arrivals when we get there.

Can’t wait!!!!!!!
