We were expecting rain again today but were pleased to find the sky just overcast. We walked Sydney's waterfront, drove a little around town to check out Tasha's home town (Henry's employee) and then drove down to Fort Louisburg.
We checked out Canada's First Lighthouse erected in 1734 and then drove over to Fort Louisburg. Spent about 4 hours there touring around the site and in & out of buildings, had lunch and beer 1700's Fort style. We were fortunate that the rain held off until we got back on the road.
Afterwards we drove to L'Ardoise to see where my Mom grew up but it was raining so we didn't stay too long.
Decided we would call it a night in Port Hawkesbury and continue our trip to Yarmouth tomorrow to visit Jevin's hometown (Henry's employee).
