With Barb and Alex gone we wandered aimlessly for a day in Athens and then decided we would head to another island until Chad and Jackie arrived.

Again, we chose a close-by island in the Saronic Sea called Hydra. Hydra was 1.5 hrs via high speed ferry from Pireaus.

Hydra was wonderful. Nestled into a hillside right at the base of the port - all white washed with shops, restaurants, and B&B's greeting you as as your ferry docks - oh yes and donkeys waiting to transport you. There are no vehicles or bicycles - only donkey and foot power :)

Henry enjoyed relaxing reading his book on our balcony while I did some internet catch up.
We did alot of walking and enjoyed some wonderful food but after 2 days it was time to move on and head to Santorini where we were to meet up with Chad and Jackie in a couple of days.
