7th Aug
Arrived in Adelaide after dark and had a little trouble finding our campsite. It was just outside the city, next to a creek and was infact very lovely. occasional spottings of wild koalas around here too. We heard them, but didn't see any (they make a very wierd loud noise!)

8th Aug - Happy Birthday Dad!
Went into the city and checked out the tourist information office. Ended up spending a lot of muller. Went to the movies to watch 'The Lakehouse' (I'm still confused!!). Had all you can eat pancakes for $5 and splashed out on the Killers CD for the car.

9th Aug
Went into Glenelg, probably the most popular suburb of Adelaide. Paid a visit to the 'Rodney Fox Shark Museum' which we really enjoyed. All the info you could ever want on all sharks. Short films, actual cages used for cage diving, memorabillia and models. Mike even wanted to book a cage diving trip. Not this time Mr. Although he is insistent that he's definately going to do it one day.

10th Aug - Happy Birthday Fran! Lazy day.
11th Aug - Went to the 'Haig's chocolate factory' for a free tour and some free chocolate. It is all hand made chocolate, so each truffle is hand dipped and rolled in flakes and flavours. "What do you do for a living?", "Oh, I dip chocolates". Fun.
Lauz, Gerard and Teresa arrived in Adelaide and came to stay on the same campsite as us. Went out for a meal to a mexican and then out to a bar for the night in Glenelg.
12th Aug - Lauz spent the day around town and we packed up ready to leave tomorrow.
13th Aug - Left Adelaide and got as far as Mount gambier, where we got a bargain campsite. Set off onto the Great Ocean Road tomorrow.
