Hi, I am still here. Today is Easter Sunday. On Friday, there was a huge procession about 3000 people were there. There were three floats that were being carried by people, they looked very heavy. The people walked over pictures on the road that were made of coloured wood shavings. They went down the main street. Yesterday, my friends came over to play futbol (soccer), after we had icecream! Yesterday for dinner, we had tortillas that my mum made, mmmmmmmmmm.
I built a fort in the room a couple of days ago and I sleep half the night in it, and then I move to my bed and sleep half the night there. My fort has a strong roof using laundry lines for structure and a blanket for the roof and door. One of my friends who has a room at the school, loaned me a blanket he never uses to lay on the floor, so I have a carpet. I've given it the name: #1 Room Inn
This morning, I woke up to find candies from the Easter Bunny!!! They were hidden all over the room, in the craziest spots. This afternoon, when I went to play my violin, I found candies in my violin case! And when I went to rosin my bow, I found another candy in the spot I where I keep my rosin. Dinner was awesome tonight, I had Churrasco, you can only get it in Nicaragua. Churrasco is a dish with steak and a green sauce with cilantro, olive oil, jalapeno peppers, garlic, bay leaves and a little bit of vinegar. I had the best fried fish in the world which I shared with mummy. It came to the table sizzling on an iron plate. I had an Easter Egg for desert back at the school. Then we went out and called home to hear about the Easter dinner back home.
