Got the train from there down to Tonnerre and then cycled down to the Hotel near Semur. Unfortunately in my rush to book the hotel I'd failed to notice that Semur is on the top of a BIG HILL, and so the last hour was a bit much for the first day... but I made it and was rewarded by an excellent hotel and wonderful meal.
