Was up at 9.00am had breakfast and Iain and I jumped on the subway and made our way down to lower Manhatten and walked over the Brooklyn Bridge which was amazing then found a subway station and trained to Conney Island in Brooklyn which took just under 45 minutes. Got off the train and look around and walked down the Broadway and had a look a the famous Conney roller coaster and fairgrounds also had a famous Conney Island Hot Dog and found the Hot Dog eating competition done every 4th July with was how many Hot Dog's you can each in 12 minutes(see Picture). We had a really good time down in Conney Island,then we jumped back to the train and headed back to Manhatten to Chinatown where I started my shopping and I shopped. We had Lunch down in Chinatown town at a nice Chinese restaurant, then we went and had a look at Ground Zero, Wall St and the Bull in the financial district and then headed up to Union Square to this huge computer store where Iain was looking for some stuff to take back to England

Then we jumped in back on a train and headed up the Grand Central Station so Iain could see this amazing building. Then headed back to the hostel and dropped off our stuff and met my friend from camp Ana at 6.00pm, which I met her just outside the 103rd and Broadway St's Station. Where we headed back into Time Square and to Madison Square Garden for see if could get into the NY Rangers v's Flyers ice hockey game but at the cost of $78 a ticket each and we won't be sitting next to each other, so we flagged that and went to the movie 'The Departed' with a star filled cast and had dinner in this little diner/restaurant then went to the movie.
After the movie was finished came down had a quiet drink in the bar downstairs and I said goodbye to Ana and headed back to the Hostel and was asleep by 2.00am
