With Very little sleep and still a lot of miles to drive I was up at 8am, checked out of the Motel 8 and had some breakfast in the lobby, then it was back on the road. First stop was to a Internet cafe up the road to check my e mails and to see how I get to my friends house in Atlanta, Georgia not realizing I was only 40 minutes up the road from them, but I had to get this little car back to New Orleans and i had a lot of driving to do. I got back on the road at 10am and was looking at 578 miles to New Orleans got into Atlanta at 10.30am and hit the traffic jam from hell a large truck and I mean very large truck had jack knifed itself in the middle of a five lane highway into Atlanta so that took some time to get around, stupid trucks's. I got a little lost after that it was that damn GSP Unit again but I somehow found my way back on the road I wanted without using the GSP Unit. I got to Birmingham at noon and with that I crossed back over the Central Timeline so it was now 11.00am which helped me cause I always needed more time.
Found this Post office in Birmingham and sent all my buy from North Carolina to my mate house in England and if you want to know what I pay to ship is the total was including US$15 of 0.75c stamps $87.00 to ship 2 average size boxes to England. Also sent off a handful of post cards. Had lunch at McDonalds again(its because you don't have to tip anyone) then was back on the road at 1.30pm had driven 200 miles already, then I drove through Alabama to Mississppi at 3.30pm had a stop with only 100 miles to New Orleans to refuel and rest at a little town call Toombuba, then continue on to New Orleans getting in at 7.00pm and drove straight to the St Vincent's Guest House on Magazine St. and it was like I lived in the town my whole life cause I got off at the right exit and didn't even need the GPS Unit.
Check-in for the last time and sorted out my bags and watch a little TV till midnight when I fell Asleep.

578 miles driven today, totaling 3148 miles in seven days

Had a really good day driving through 3 states but found it hard to find a good non country radio station, but when I did I sang my heart out. 'Cause I'm Free.....Free felling was the song of the day'!!!
