My friend Beks called me and asked me if I was interested in a day trip to Brighton. I asked how much and how long to get there. She said 16 pounds and about an hour and half. So I packed a bag and we trained to London Bridge and then caught the 12.11pm train to Brighton.

Arrived into Brighton at 1.30pm and walked from the train station do to the beach. She didnt tell me that the beach was pebbles. So no sand between the toes for me. We walked around the pier for about and hour and half, checked out the rides and played some games, lost our money (damn carnies). Had fish and chips on the beach and then played a game of mini golf, the looser had to cook dinner. I won!!!! 46 -51.

Walked back along the boardwalk and watched the sea smog role in and cover the pier. All the rides at the end just disappeared. We walked back up through the streets of Brighton to the Royal Pavilion. Saw a busker who is able to walk on a tightrope and play violin at the same time, saw a brass band in the park and then headed back to the train station to get the train back to London.

Arrived back to London Bridge and then got the tube back to Canary Wharf. Walked back home via Tesco so Beks could buy dinner and and then back to her house for dinner and dessert, before we both collapsed on the couch.
