After a night of sleeping on the bottom bunk at our homestay family's house, we leave for a morning and afternoon out touring Holland. We are off to Heusden - a city that was fortified for the army. It also contains dikes to keep back the water so that the towns do not flood. I had a nice time - I was able to get some lunch at a pub-like place - I got a pancake with strawberries and fruity liqour. At that point, it was the first time I had ever had liqour in a shot and it was very interesting. In Holland they don't serve maple syrup, so the topping is usually fruit with powdered sugar. I remember doing some shopping in this town - I picked myself up a green raincoat type jacket. We then get on the bus to travel to Oudenbosch for the choir's concert at a Basilica. At night was our concert band performance for our homestay families.
