We had a pretty lax day today. We started out late and drove to Fort Langley. I haven't been to the fort since I was in primary school so it was kind of cool, bringing back old memories. We walked through the town and explored the fort. It was pretty empty today but we did see one demonstration at the blacksmith's which was interesting. We also watched a little movie on the fort's history and touched some animal furs. We also checked out the museum which gave a good history of the area from way, way back.

The reason we went east into the Fraser Valley was because tonight we had dinner plans in Abbotsford. After visiting the fort we drove to my LP's beautiful house. She made us a delicious dinner and I finally got to meet her man. We had a very fun night drinking wine from a box but I had to drive so I had to cut myself off pretty early. We had a really nice time together. It was so nice to see my old friend again and meet her partner. I wish I had more time here!
