Our time on Oahu is winding down. I feel complete here (Thomas so-so), but we don't know our next destination yet. If we can work out our money thing quickly, we'll probably go over to the Big Island or Kaui. If not, we'll head back to the mainland next week when we are done housesitting. It's been a fantastic ride!
In the mean time, we've gone back to Pearl Harbor so Mecca could finish her booklet to receive her Junior Ranger Badge (it took 3 trips), celebrated Memorial Day with floating lanterns at Ala Moana Beach Park, and visited a 150 year old botanical garden!

Amazing adventure! Thanks for sharing it with us. Where to go next...Hilo has some good schools in certain areas (look them up at Greatschools.com) and inexpensive housing compared to the rest of HI. Kauai is amazingly beautiful!
But, hey, you're half way across the Pacific, why not continue onto the Marshall Islands, Fiji, New Caladonia, Indonesia, Australia...the list will never end.
What ever your choice I look forward to reading about it!
