Why I am writing this travel blog:
I want to show families that it is possible to travel easily, effortlessy, and semi-inexpensively with a young child. My daughter has already been to Egypt, on a 7 day Mexican cruise, to Palenque Mexico, Niagra Falls/Toronto, and countless other road trips. We have been travelling with her since she was four months old. Many think that once they have children, they can not do the things they did when single, or as a couple like travel abroad.
I hope to inspire others with this blog to hit the road and explore the world. We travel as much as possible. Our last few trips have been within the states, but we are finally doing our Central America trip. I'm looking forward to snorkeling, hiking and exploring ancient Mayan ruins.
I travelled quite a bit while single. I would take off to a foreign location, stay in cheap (but clean hotels) and just have a blast. I would take the time to contemplate life on my long bumpy bus rides, or join up with others if I felt like company. Now I get to travel with my family. My husband loves travelling as much as I do, and we both love luxury, but are also okay with inexpensive hotels and simple meals if it means we can stay on the road longer.
Welcome to my blog and my adventures!
