The square is blessed with a variety of venues, including Cafe Mozart that features a dinner/jazz event, which we will be attending on Friday night. We were even able to reserve our table! :)
There are a number of vendors, horse carriage rides, and entertainment in the square. Human statues dressed and made up encourage you to have your picture taken with them. I prefer to be the person behind the camera, and remember an experience I had in Rome, where taking a picture with the Gladiators at Trevi Fountain resulted in a payment of monies. So much for charging as the photographer. LOL..I was the one who got charged.
We continued to explore the various streets in and around the square and enjoyed lunch at the George and Dragon, which abutted the Square's venue and offered more British style fair.
After much more walking and site seeing, we ended up at home, exhausted after a walk filled day, including the 105 steps back up to the flat!
