This morning we got up early and the first stop was the big Buddha on Lantau Island. First we had to take the MRT to the last stop and then we had to take a cable car the rest of the way. And of course during the MRT trip my stomach decided to mess up again.. I was lucky for the first half of the day, but when arriving at our next stop..... well..... but first about Buddha...

The cable car was a fun ride up with a great view. Arild had even booked us a cable car with a clear floor in, strangely I didn't find it scary. You could actually also walked up to the Buddha if you wanted, think it would take you something like 2 hours. And looking at the path, I'm glad we didn't. The Buddha is huge. And both Arild and I thought that it looked kind of new, and I just googled it and we were right, it was completed in 1993. It all looked a like a park made for tourism. But hey, good for us, I liked the trip :)

Took the cable car down to find the bus to Tai O. AND we actually made a small error, we should have taken the bus from the top of the cable car, not at the bottom. At the top the bus would take about 20 min, and from the bottom 50 min... I didn't really matter, we had plenty of time and since we just saw the island from the sky, why not see it from the land??
The busride was nice and finally at Tai O we walked around for a short while... and suddenly I felt it... "I need toilet, NOW!".... That was the start of a very upset stomach running to the toilet every 10 minutes for the next hour or so... I had enough and took 2 imodiums... And it settled... We got to see around Tai O. They have a small market where they sell all kind of weird dried stuff... Everything you can find in the sea and more... Jelly fish, flounder, duck, snails, shark fin and so on... They also had live fishes that were taking their last breaths...

AND most important me and Arild found a nice place we would like to invest a property in... (look at the pictures) :)

Back in the city we had dinner at small restaurant with non-Asian food. I didn't have a lot, because my shape was TERRIBLE... which kind of ruined the last part of our day... I wish my stomach will behave soon. I have bought some Chinese medicine, so fingers crossed:)
