I arrived at the airport with little appetite, I had 3 bananas and some awfull food in the airplane. The first flight was only 1 hour long, and it was a quick sleep. It wasn't a nice flight, because of all the turbulence, but the guy at the entrance in the frond on boarding reinsured me that nothing was going to happen, when he said that "yes it will be a bit bumping today".
A couple of hours wait in San Salvador, my stomach woke up... And it had gotten out on the wrong side of bed this morning.... it wasn't at all what I wanted it to be....
So the flight of 5 hours to LA was painful and annoying... I had to run to the toilet about every 20 minutes... I got pissed off, because my stomach have been fine the last 4 weeks, and I was trying to be really careful with what I ate yesterday so it WOULDN'T be bad on my 2 days of traveling
AND it wasn't fun either when they annonced on the PA system 45 minutes before landing that no one was allowed to move or remove anything from their luggage, because of new STUPID US laws. WHAT the heck is this??? Are they really THAT paranoid? The states really needs to get their act together, there is a limit on how many stupid rules they can have before they loose their tourists!! Anyway, two people were denied toilet... WHAT's that? That is just stupid... So I thought that I was going to hold it for the next 45 min... I was doing good for about 15 min, pushed the botton because I really had to go... I was allowed:) But I'm sure it was only because I had already earlier told the guys at the airplane that my stomach was bad...
ANYWAY.... arriving in LA I had several options... I could rent a hotel room for the next 8 hours... Rent a car and drive around... OR do a guided tour of LA... which I ended up doing after intake of Imodium... It was a 4.5 hour tour of LA.. We got to see the neighbourhood Venice with loads of cute little rivers....Venice beach which was a bit scary with a lot of funny characters and to my greatest disappointment no baywatch..
Back at the airport, I asked around and I found a first aid office, they were nice and drove me to see the doctor. After a long visit lasting for about 2 hours.... I left there with a painful ass after the injection they gave me which was going to help my stomach cramps and my nausia... And the direction of not eating anything the next 24hours, and only being allowed to drink water, apple juice and gatorade...GREAT!
My plane departed at 2220, 15 hours away from Hong Kong!
