I must say that recharging my batteries have been nice.
I got up today, had a 20 minutes swim in the pool as my morning exercise.. The pool wasnīt very intreging (?) this morning. During the night there has been a big storm and the pool was full of stuff from the storm. It was cleaned out during the day, but not at 0900 in the morning... which I wouldnīt expect them to either.

After my swim I had breakfast and a phonecall with my lovely boyfriend before hitting the sun. After almost 3hrs I had enough, had a shower and some lunch... Chatted with the owners of the hotel and walked to the shuttle.

It was a loooong drive back to Antigua, only 2 hours, but it felt much longer. AND the scenery on the way was soooooooooooooo beautiful!! UNbelivable!!! I must have been one of the most impressing moments so far that I can remember. It was sunset, volcano having erruption, very different nature along the way.. The clouds in the sky was even amazing!! *sukk*
I canīt describe it. Even though the sunset itself wasnīt the best one Iīve seen, it made it the best when thinking about all the nature added to it...

Back in Antigua I got my room, not the same bed I had the night before, but the one next to it, which was fine. I wanted to book a shuttle to the airport tomorrow for 0730... But there werenīt any going, no people sign up for it... So there I was.. I could walk to Parque Centrale for a taxi, but to be honest, to walk for 15 min with my bag at 0700 in the morning.. NOOOOT very tempting.. AND I would have to pay 270GTQ while the shuttle was only 55GTQ. Sooo I decided to take the 0500 shuttle.. Meaning I would have about 5 hours in the airport... not a dream situation, but thatīs life sometimes...

Went out with the German couple from my from and a new girl from Israel to Rainbow cafe:) I had their Chicken Faijtas which was really good!!:) Back in bed for 5 hours sleep... Niiiice!

Hello,
for your information, this hotel of charm was highly recommended by a friend. The owners are a french couple, Isabel and Didier, that successfully ran the Ecolodge La Lancha in Peten (area where Tikal Guatemala is) that was later bought by Francis Ford Coppola. It has 5 rooms and it is located close to Convent Santo Domingo.
