Day 58: Today was a long day and to make things worse we had our first hiccup with the trains (I was very upset as I had done so good so far).  We had our train itinerary with us, we left Praja early and all we had to do was get to Bari by 10pm to catch the ferry to Dubrovnik, sounds simple enough, we had to swap trains five times and if everything worked out we would be there by 6.30pm.

First train was no problem, but with the second train there was 3 trains that arrived at the same time all going to the same place but taking a different route, I missed heard the first one so we left it and it turned out to be the one we had to get, so waited for the next one to the same place, we thought we had plenty of time so it wasn't too bad.  But the next train was over an hour late which ment we had to wait longer at each subsequent train station and we arrived in Bari at 9pm which we thought was fine, but when we got to the ferry port they said we couldn't catch it because the only lady who knew how to issue tickets went home so we were now stuck in Bari.  We were able to find a hostel that was close, wasn't that great but did the job.

Day 59: As today wasn't planned we didn't really know what to do, we had to check out at 11am but we could leave our bags at the hostel until 3pm and then the ferry ticket counter opened at 6pm and it departed at 10pm.  So after checking out we left our bags there and went exploring, we just walked around and did some shopping and visited the church of St. Nicolas.  After walking around we got our bags and sat at the ferry port until we could buy tickets and get on the ferry.

The ferry ride took 9 hours and we got to Dubrovnik at 7am, both the views of Bari at night time and of Dubrovnik in the morning as we were coming in were pretty cool, definitely made up for the lousy sleep we had in the chairs.
