We made it back home. It was a long night. I rested a bit in Seattle, and about 2 hours on the flight from Seattle to Minneapolis. We got back to Hastings, Minnesota about 7:00 a.m. and crashed for about 5 hours (much needed sleep).

We had a wonderful trip, but not sure we would do it again.  Too soon to make a decision like that.  It was a long 5,000 mile drive and Mike was always concerned with safety. It is really different driving an RV compared with a car or even our van. RV's are considered high profile vehicles, meaning the wind will impact your driving. We loved seeing all the frontier towns and miles and miles of highway and pine trees with virtually no traffic

The terrain of Alaska was like northern Minnesota, where we have a cabin near Orr, MN.  We frequently caught ourselves saying "this looks just like Minnesota"!  Now, when we are up near the cabin, we say "this looks just like the Yukon, or Alaska".

I loved Yellowstone, and was so glad for the chance to see it. Driving through parts of Canada were breathtaking - Banff, Jasper, the Icefields Parkway. We loved seeing the glaciers, and even though going out on one was COLD, we would do that again.

All in all, it was a great trip and truly an adventure of a lifetime and would highly recommend it to anyone with a sense of adventure and desire to see more of God's great creations.
