Today was a tarvel day. We only went about 138 miles but the scenery was spectacular. We crossed the Confederation bridge from New Brunswick to Prince Edward Island. The bridge is 9 miles long and spans the North Umberland Straight. the bridge cost 1 Billion dollars in 1997. It is a true engineering feat. the country side of Prince Edward Island reminded us of the Irish country side.
We stopped at Costco for lunch and had a hot dog and coke for a 1.99 canadian. For dinner Shirley fixed breaded veal cuttlets and mashed potatoes and gravey. oh suffering sounds.
I am ging to send this update now and hope I can successfully upload more pictures. We are working off of a satelite and things take a long time. Tomorrow we have a bus tour of the PEI.
So far I am have difficulty uploading pictures.
