SHE SAID:
Spent the morning finding our next hotel for tomorrow and this proved a bit difficult as it is a National holiday weekend here in Turkey.  Then headed right across the street from our hotel to a Beach Club.  This consists of a little area were there are beach loungers and umbrellas up on a small cliff side above the Mediterranean Sea.  The loungers are free as long as you drink and eat at the clubs snack bar.  Adam and I spent the entire rest of the day just relaxing, reading, and periodically jumping into the sea to swim and cool off.  Probably one of the most relaxing days in my entire life, it was great.  Headed into town for a fresh fish dinner at the place recommended to us by the hotel.  We decide to share some mezes and split the red snapper.  We ordered without asking the price and the meal was pretty good.  Then the bill came and we were shocked.  The fish was 56 Lira ($42) we couldn't believe it!  Couldn't help but feel as if we had been had and learned the lesson to always ask the price before ordering. Adam discussed it with the waiter and I think he felt bad because he brought us free Raki.  (Which we wanted to try but were a bit hesitant to order it as we only wanted a taste.)  It a strong liquor that tastes a bit like anise.  You pour a small amount in a glass with ice and add water and it becomes a milky white color. Turns out it was pretty good, just strong.

As a result of the fish dinner I am looking into whether or not Turkish grocery stores have available for the next few nights my personal favorite (and soon to be Stacy's); Top Ramen.
